There will probably be 24 or 25 episodes, and judging from previous season, we might only see the results at the beginning of ep 24, so next episode we probably won't know the results yet.

However, I think Manami will win. I mean look at this episode, it will be nonsense to let Manami lose again after all that, and bear the guilt of letting his team lose twice in a row, and if there is another interhigh when they are 3rd year, Onoda will likely win since it is their final year and he the main character. So if Manami lose this time, he will lose 3 times.

I personally think Onoda will win. Difference in bicycles do matter specially in real life.

Onoda was using an unbranded bicycle (probably alloy or chromoly steel bike) and was able to win on the 1st inter-high. Now he has a bmc carbon bike, which is tons lighter than his first bike. Weight difference will matter specially on climbers. Onoda is stronger than what you might think. I do agree Sohoku was weaker as a whole this season, but that doesn't mean Onoda is weak as well.

Well, carbon bike is used only for racing tho. And judging by season 1 he won with steel frame which is kinda slightly heavy and now he got carbon he is mostlikely to win with his high cadence

I think Onoda will win again tbh. Bcs if there will potentially be a 3rd season, I foresee they might introduce a new strong team that might prevent Manami and Onoda to compete again and Onoda will be the one to beat that new rival instead. But its just a hunch, may not be real.

this is a way to not let kids tire out and not ride to far away in a way of security but sakamichi went assertive and rode to akihabara so many times on their own... (there is nothing with be assertive a decision of a super protective mom acting on their own, be assertive is for he decide on his own), if i'm not wrong at season 1 imaizumi said something about it in home(i guess) for himself

it's contradictory. she says she wants him to not be timid, but then immediately adjusts his bike when he is adventurous.

i really don't deny this fact but it is what it is, but is cool to see his mom way of thinking and how she cares him a lot and not let the information dies like most animes

Got a bit emotional on the first part of the episode. Onoda's mom is just like my parents. They are proud of what I have achieved but me coming back home from training and races in one piece is much more important to them than any medal that I receive.

Hakone have been dominating the two days of races, so i hope Manami will finish first, time for sohoku to taste defeat

I honestly love how action packed and beautiful each of the characters' memories and back-stories are! Super heart-warming and somehow puts a lot of meaning and emphasis behind each character's reason for racing and wanted to win! I love this anime so much! :)

Manami went though some stuff after he lost the girl who shows up the same amount of times as Onoda's mom gets a back story and char development.. Onoda the main fing char's "love" interest has less back story why are they so bad at story telling about a bicycle race that they forget about the race this is what this char feels about this its a sports anime crap I would watch a anime about their lives as a drama but damn no one will be bicycle in 50 percent of this crap let me tell you so and so side char used to be friends in middle school

This is what I wanted to see! What happenned to Sangaku after last inter-high and what kind of depression he was going through. Turns out it was about the same phase Sakamichi was going through since Makishima left and he was pressured to produce even better results than before because of his win
I'm not even mad they covered only 300m this episode. It was something important to show for this rematch.
